YUCK!!! This is basically a bunch of slabs behind the gas pumps at a CitGo Station. Noisy freeway on one elbow, trucks coming and going on the other. NO showers, restrooms (aside from those in gas station). NO Wi-Fi or cable. Sites have broken pavement with lots of mud in between and NO picnic tables. Never again, unless Wal-Mart has no space in its parking lot!

Conveniently located to local site-seeing, this place is overpriced at $37 -- then add $10 extra for full sewage hookup! At 5 pm, everything is closed & locked up, except the bathrooms/laundry and you will have to check yourself in. Wi-Fi doesn't work well. No cable TV. Right beside noisy freeway. OK for overnight.

Pretty park in a well-treed setting with big, soft, fat, long-eared bunnies cruising around all over the place. Pond/lake on the premises. Sites are gravel or dirt and there are tent campers here as well. Staff is attentive and the place is well-cared-for. We'll stay here again on our way South.

GOOD NEWS: Clean cement & gravel sites, staff person (Lisa) was very helpful and conscientious. BAD NEWS: NO FREE Wi-Fi... Poor Lisa must tell callers that they have "free Wi-Fi," when they call to make reservations. After many frustrating attempts to use this "free Wi-Fi" including Lisa trying to help me find a location, I finally asked to see the Wi-Fi device. It was a tiny, cheap thing that was ineffective and improperly connected. What a waste of time! EXTREMELY SMALL SITES... Sites are narrow and packed in. Some big rigs couldn't open their slide outs. Those that did manage to get them open could probably open their windows and hold hands between rigs. MY RECOMMENDATION: Go to the slightly older, but more spacious Victorville KOA (now Shady Oasis. Or, for even more space in a park setting among more natural surroundings, go to Mojave Narrows Regional Park. See this site for reviews of both.

Great value, located next to the Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (don't miss this... the fine art collection was a great surprise). OKC zoo is nearby as well. This is a clean park with lots of amenities. Pavement and gravel everywhere. Restrooms were large and first rate. Big rec room with 2 big screen TVs. Only negative: They were "working" on their Wi-Fi... (I've heard that before!) and converting it to high speed. It drove me nuts, kicking me offline every 10 minutes. If Wi-Fi is important, make sure their changeover to high speed is complete. [I'd rate this place a 10, but for the frustrating Wi-Fi.]

Wow: what a deal! A beautiful, clean park with tiled private bathrooms, showers and large paved sites. There's a nice rec room and very attentive staff. Good Wi-Fi from several locations. My "10" rating is due to the price and great value. Very near lots of shopping malls and more. We'll be staying here again!

VERY hilly location, but pretty. Small (and few) sites available. It would be hard to squeeze in a very large rig, but our Suburban pulled our 26 ft. trailer carefully into place and all was well. All sites are cemented or otherwise paved and overall the place was spartan, but well cared-for. Good clean showers. We'd stop here again for an overnighter.

Clean, quiet place with several small lakes and plenty of water view sites. No Wi-Fi, no cable TV. They have no plans, according the the staff, of getting either. But local Norfolk stations come in fine on antenna. Very attentive staff. Some sites are really muddy when it rains (it rained several days of our 10 day stay.) Excellent (though a bit rough-hew) clean showers and bathrooms. We'll be staying here again when visiting our relatives nearby. [By the way, the little beach looked clean and water clear to me, despite the other reviewers saying to beware of the leaches!... Hmmm...]

If you like rustic locations, you'll like this little park. Beautiful, shady location in the oak trees. It's dusty w/gravel and grass -- no pavement. Amenities are old, but functional. Shower was older & rougher than in some state parks, but it had plenty of hot water. We have relatives right nearby and will stay here again. Very nice people run this place and care about your having a positive experience. Duck pond, ostrich, geese etc. are fun to watch. Some long-term guests are working locally and staying here. It's VERY quiet at night, yet still close to the freeway and city shopping in Wilson. Wi-Fi works fine.

Nice, clean park. Nothing fancy, but we've stayed here overnight several times and also at the Kingman KOA right nearby. This is lower cost than the KOA with exactly the same amenities. Really nice showers, plenty of hot water. Friendly, helpful staff.

Nice park with clean showers and well-maintained facilities overall. Has attentive staff. Only negatives: The physical landscape itself has lots of slopes, so if it's crowded, you might find yourself without a level space. Also, our space had a little more grass under the trailer than I would have liked: prefer gravel, but the rainforest character of this region has helped the grass devour most of the gravel on our site. We'd definitely stay here again however: especially since it's so close to Pittsburgh (about the closest we found). Finally, they do have weekend events. Our Elvis impersonator on the Saturday night of our stay was pretty good at what he does. (Though I'm not an Elvis fan).

This campground is clean, neat, and well-cared for. It is almost fully treed-in and has a beautiful high canopy of hardwoods that provide shade throughout. There is zero mud! Clean gravel walkways and driveways, as well as some grassy areas provide a nice tidy feel to the place. The bathrooms are always sparkling clean. There are many shady lake-view lots. Nearby is a Wal-Mart Super Center and many other places to shop and eat. Despite their convenient location close to the interstate, the songs of birds are louder than any faint traffic sounds you might hear. We'll be staying here again!

This campground is a paradox! It's totally beautiful and well-maintained, loaded with birds and green, shady trees. The staff goes out of its way to make sure you are happy. That's the good news. The bad news: A thundering train shook the ground and blasted its air horns several times throughout the night, just yards away from the camp sites. I was blasted from my sleep by the first train just after midnight and the adrenalin rush had hardly subsided when less than an hour or so later, the next train came crashing through. The tracks are concealed by trees at the edge of the campsite, so you wouldn't know trains run through there unless you ask. This was absolutely the most nerve-wracking night I have ever spent in my 5 years (and 10 times)of RVing across the entire country. My recommendation: This is a great place to hold your daytime event of any kind. This is a horrible place to try to sleep.

This park is clean and simple. Easy freeway access. All services work as promised. Sites are rather barren, but there's a nice view of nearby fields and mountains. Just fine for an overnight stay and rejuvenation for the next day's drive. We could hear the freeway from our site, but it wasn't too loud. Ostrich bonus: Drive out the road a ways past this campground and you'll come to a field full of ostrich's! Rode my bike along their fence and they ran beside me. Fun!

Nice clean park with moderately shaded sites. They have all the same amenities, ambiance, and quality as the nearby KOA, which charges more. We travel through Kingman frequently and this is our campground of choice. Lots of shopping, gas, and easy freeway access [but not the freeway noise].
